Ravi Sikand - President.
Ravi has 30 years experience in accounting and the last 28 years in hospitality accounting. He started his career with Marriott International as a Night Auditor and worked his way up to Corporate Controller with Equinox Hospitality. He was also an Area Controller with Kimpton Hotel and Restaurants. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a Masters in Economics. He is proficient at applying GAAP principals to auditing engagements and management reports. Ravi started consulting in the hospitality industry in 2008.
Michele Schaffer - VP Technical Services.
Michele has worked in the accounting field of the hospitality industry for over 20 years now. Her first job in hospitality was as a bar manager but with a head for numbers, she quickly moved into management. She was the Controller and managed the accounting team of a large full service hotel and also consulted on resorts and HOA's. Michele has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and an MBA in Accounting and Finance.
The Rest of the Team.
In addition to Ravi and Michele, GlobalHAS Inc. has a team of eight associates that are US based. What sets us apart from other similar companies, is that all of our team members have extensive hospitality accounting experience, averaging about eight years each. In addition, we have an overseas division of accountants trained by us in specific hospitality accounting functions. This enables us to keep our pricing very competitive and to expand quickly to meet our client's needs.
